My Night in the Emergency Room - Queen of Manifestation

My Night in the Emergency Room

This weekend, I spent an evening somewhere that I totally hadn’t anticipated.

It wasn’t part of my vision at all.

In fact, I had just come off of this 10 day cleanse and was feeling great!

So why did I end up in the emergency room?

Why me? Why now?

Have you ever asked yourself those questions?

It’s like everything’s going so well in your life. You’re beginning to see results, and then all of a sudden – BOOM… something happens that’s totally unexpected and throws you for a loop.

Well, I had spent 10 days on a gluten-free, dairy-free, caffeine & sugar-free cleanse. And to be honest, it wasn’t so far off from the way we normally eat.

But we definitely normally consume wheat. I love a good slice of homemade bread with my salads.

So at the end of the cleanse I decided to reward myself with a piece of bread. And I got a headache. I didn’t think much of it, and I had bread the next day and got another headache. And so I paid attention to my body and decided maybe to avoid the wheat.

But a day or two later, we went to one of my favorite Italian restaurants and I ate a bunch of homemade bread.

That evening and the next day I suffered from the worst migraine I’ve ever experienced in my life.

I was nauseous. I couldn’t get out of bed. I was in so much pain. It felt like labor all over again.

And I had never even had a migraine before!

So my love finally called my doctor. She recommended I go to the Emergency Room to get an IV because I was dehydrated. So we went. And long story short, I’m feeling fine now.

But I am avoiding wheat for the time being.

After consulting with a bunch of health coaches and acupuncturists, I became aware that my body might not be able to handle wheat right now. Especially with the GMO wheat that’s being produced in the US. Even organic wheat! Who knew?

Now that I had detoxed and gotten it out of my system, I didn’t have the capacity to take it in anymore.

So how could I turn this situation into a positive?

Breathing.

Breathing.

When everything seems to be going wrong, it actually might be going just right.

This was all actually perfect timing.

You see, this past weekend when I was in the ER happened to be on the Full Moon.

Astrologically the full moon is a perfect time for clearing the things that no longer serve you.

For me, that was wheat.

Then the new moon that occurs once every month is the time to begin new things, to set your intentions and to start manifesting something special.

My Manifestation Masters Program happens to start on this next new moon. And yes, I designed the course this way. It’s the perfect time to really get clear on what you want, and make it happen.

Throughout the 40 days we also clear the things that no longer serve you and are holding you back, whether they are beliefs, or habits. It’s an amazing journey that past participants have shared has changed their lives.

If you feel a calling to go bigger in your life, to get unstuck and start manifesting what you really want, I invite you to join us.

What if we were like a child?

The child wants to do everything and anything. And just because something is new and they never had tried it before, doesn’t mean it isn’t impossible. In fact, just like learning to walk, they keep trying after they fall down.

They might fall down 200 times before they eventually get the hang of it.

But they do.

Remember that the next time something knocks you off your feet. It’s not always a sign that it isn’t supposed to be.

Perhaps it’s just an opportunity for clearing another layer in order to get to where you want to go.

We’re taught that change is hard. But guess what? The atoms in our bodies are always moving and changing.  So if we fear change, we’re in fact fearing who we are.

So I’m going to declare that I am embracing this newfound change.

I will go on a wheat-free diet, for at least some time, and I will see how I feel. I will commit to this change. I know in my heart that it is a good thing.

It’s only my fear telling me that it will be hard. It’s only my fear of change, of not wanting to get rid of the old habits that is holding me back.

But I know I’ll be fine.

And so will you!

Whatever change you’re facing. I invite you to push through it. Love yourself enough. Embrace it. See the opportunities to clear what’s no longer serving you and let them go. Then recommit to your big dream.

Amazing things are on their way to you.

When things aren’t right, it’s a huge gift from the universe. You now have the chance to re-evaluate what’s working and what’s not. You have the opportunity to clear things.

So instead of asking, ‘Why did this happen?’ or ‘Why am I NOT getting this?’

You can instead ask, ‘How can I get that result?’

Or assume that you already have what you want and ask, ‘How can I bring in MORE of that result?’

See what comes up.

Then ask yourself what may no longer be serving you.

See if there are any lessons to be learned.

Forgive yourself and release it.

Once you’ve let that go, you’ve opened up more space to allow in what you truly desire.

Try to remember these simple principles the next time you find yourself in an unexpected situation.

Now I’d love to hear from you! Have you ever shifted your perspective when you were in a tough situation? Leave a comment below with any tips that you used to clear things that no longer served you. Do you do anything that I didn’t mention? Share it below. We can all benefit from your feedback.

Here’s to manifesting a life that you love!

xoxo, Jen

Many of the things you say resonate with me. When change is hard, I think about the constant change within us at an atomic level, and try to go with that flow. I remind myself of the gratitude I have. I love your suggestion of saying: How do I get more of what I have, because it builds on practicing gratitude. Thanks!
